I haven't been struck yet, but I've been hearing from numerous internet as well as IRL friends, that they are BAD as of late! And the latest word is that people are contracting them from 4shared :( Well, after hearing this, and not wanting anyone to pick up some nasty while trying to DL my quickpage, I decided to move it over to Box.net. So please, please, PLEASE beware of going to 4shared to download anything!!

NAME MY KIT!!! I found that I absolutely LOVED getting such a fabulous array of name choices for my Springquility kit, that I don't think I ever want to name my own kits again! hahahaaa So here it is, Girls, my new kit without a name. (and it is SO about time I made a boy kit (considering I have 3 of the little guys!)

I'm doing it the same as before, the winning name will score you the kit free, and all submissions will get you a 50% off coupon for the kit.

ADSR #4--First Challenge!

The Race has begun! And--Wow! Was #1 ever a challenge for me!! You wouldn't think it would be that hard to just tear a picture into 3 or more parts, but I could NOT get over my mental block of NOT liking torn pictures! I just kept thinking, "that's what you do when you break-up with someone!" lol I finally figured out that I didn't need to separate the people in the photo with the tears--I could use the tears as a grunge tool, and just tear the edges off. So that's what I did! Here's the result and my first layout for ADSR4!Off to work on challenge #2!

Okay, so I am NOT the ever-faithful blogger. I knew I wouldn't be. You'll be lucky if I update every 2 months. I'm like one of those magazines that only come out 6 times a year. Those kinds of magazines frustrate me.

Anyway...Whew! Made it through the Black Friday madness! (barely) How'd you do? After today, I think I am going to do AS MUCH online shopping as possible this season. Anyone ever try to be a recluse for the holiday season? How viable an option is this?

I'm back. I've been back for a while, but haven't had much time for blog postings. A couple days after we got back, my littlest monster started running a fever. By the evening, the fever was pretty high, and he wasn't wanting to eat. I was thinking that he might have strep, which would explain him not wanting to eat (his throat was hurting). Since the clinic was closed, and he was obviously distressed, I took him to the ER. They checked his ears, did a quick strep test, found nothing, so sent us home, having given him a popsicle and a does of Motrin (I could have done that MUCH more cheaply at home!!) The Dr said it was probably a virus and we'd just have to ride it through. Well, he continued to run his fever all weekend and through the week, which we just tried to keep down by alternating Tylenol and Motrin. It was finally gone on Thursday, but he was still acting clingy and whiny, and not really eating. Then he developed a rash on Saturday. By Sunday it was a raging rash and even extended to his palms and bottoms of his feet (rare for a rash to do). Long story short--took him into the clinic, he has STREP!!! After all this time, my poor baby HAD been fighting with strep, and it could have been gone over a week ago!! He's been on meds for 2 days now, and is already back to himself. Praise God!

I haven't had much time for designing, but I do have a new template set in the shop, "Sweet & Simple"and will have at least one new kit in the shop by this Friday.

On Vacation

I have bad news...I'm on vacation.

So here it is...my obligatory first blog post. {insert regular saying about never having done this sort of thing before...blah blah blah}

I'm starting this blog to introduce the world to my digital scrapbooking designs. Okay, maybe not the world...I have no real feelings of grandeur here, but I would like to get my designs "out there"...wherever "there" may be. So if you like my stuff, make sure to send your friends, if you don't, be sure and send your friends anyway...maybe they have better taste than you. ;) (hahahaaaa)
